I’m legitimately impressed by the visual upgrade of the OLED



I upgraded from the V2 Switch because I primarily play in handheld and wanted the larger screen and better tabletop mode. I didn’t expect much from the improved visuals that were touted in all of the marketing, and honestly thought it was mostly false hype.

After playing for about 2 hours, I have to say the improved visuals are pretty damn good and genuinely surprising. Hades, Animal Crossing, and Warioware were the three games I’ve played so far on the OLED that I also played on my previous Switch.

The difference was immediately noticeable and genuinely shocked me. The color improvements stood out in a major way. Even the flowers in Animal Crossing looked downright amazing.

As someone that was on the fence, but ultimately took the plunge and bought the OLED model, I’m very satisfied with my purchase after seeing the difference firsthand.
