Halo: Reach has become the fifth biggest launch of a game in the UK ever, easily becoming this week’s number one, Chart-Track’s said this morning.

The Bungie shooter joins Modern Warfare 2 on 360 and PS3, GTA San Andreas on PS2 and GTA IV on 360 among the ranks of biggest UK launches ever.

It goes into the top spot having outsold Halo 3’s launch number by 20,000 units and Halo 3: ODST’s by almost 200,000. No exact sales numbers were provided, though.
