decrypted/decrypted C:
Sets in which the graphics roms (C roms) are already decrypted meaning they do not have to be decrypted by the emulator. This results in significantly faster load times compared with encrypted sets. Decrypted C roms also compress better than encrypted ones, so these sets also have a smaller filesize. Usually these are not dumped from boards.
解密的CROM 读取快速 能被压缩的较小 但通常不是从基板上DUMP的

bootleg:
A romset dumped from a board not created/authorized by the manufacturer of the game.

set 1:
Usually dumped from a board that contains the most recently released version of a game.
从基板上读取并且日期是最新的一个版本

set 2:
Usually an older or alternate set compared with set 1. For some Neo-Geo games, set 2 is the AES home version.
跟set1不同 或是比SET1老的  neogeo中SET2表示家用版卡带

prototype:
A romset dumped from a pre-release board of the game.

not encrypted:
In MAME these are sets that have been dumped from boards that have non-encrypted program roms (P ROMs). There are very few of these.

既然家里玩 SET1 2也没啥可在意的
