戰爭機器》是由EPIC公司使用「Unreal 3.0」引擎所開發的Xbox360遊戲，由於徹底發揮Xbox主機搭配「Unreal 3」引擎的優勢，在畫面和系統上有著極強的表現。

It is stated that Epic and Sony might be working on a PS3 game that deals with the Gears of War universe not necessarily Gears of War 2.
