17 Chinese players are on their way to the WCG 2007 Grand Final in Seattle after being selected at the National Final which was held July 26th to 29th at Renmin University, Beijing. This year again, the champion of WarCraft III from the ’05 and ’06 Grand Final, Xiofeng Li, heads to Seattle to challenge for his third gold medal. World famous Counter Strike team wNv is also on their way to the Grand Final after winning the China National Final.

The official game titles for the Chinese National Final were WarCraft III, StarCraft, Counter Strike, and Command & Conquer3. Freestyle, a popular street basketball game, was once again selected as a special exhibition game. More than 500 players participated in this prestigious Chinese e-Sport festival. 6,000 spectators and 80 media such as CCTV and QQ enjoyed the event as well.
