这个可不一定，索尼有自己的专门的网络公司SOE，是SCEA的子公司。
而且，从BD-JAVA,CeLL这些东西来看，SCE和IBM,Sun等公司是合作伙伴，它们在网络技术上的实力可一点也不比微软差。所以通过合作SCE也可以得到很好的技术协助。

我的意思是按照Stinger的各部门之间深度合作的精神，HOME的创意，策划，运作等方面SOE理应参与其中的。

我前面提到的和IBM这样的公司合作也是一个重要的因素。HOME的目标之一是实现其和游戏的无缝切换，所以比较好的方式应该是更多的依赖空闲SPE来处理HOME。
这个就不禁让人联想到IBM在GDC07上展示的通过SPE和服务器经由网络协作进行实时图形处理的技术也许就会应用在HOME里？
