Laptops: When you join Google, and every 3 years thereafter, you're given a tech preference choice. The choices are: Linux laptop (Dell XPS), MacBook Pro 13/15, MacBook Air, Chromebook pixel.

The MacBook's are by far the most popular choice - to the extent that you'll stand out if you bring a non-mac to a meeting.
