霍格沃茨之遗成为2023年美国市场上最畅销的游戏。这是自2008年以来，非使命召唤或Rockstar开发的游戏排名第一的第一年。《使命召唤：现代战争III》既是12月最畅销的游戏，也是2023年第二畅销的游戏，《使命召唤：现代战争2》排名第7，《使命召唤》连续第15年成为美国美元销售额中最畅销的品牌

12月，《堡垒之夜》在美国市场的PlayStation 5和Xbox系列游戏机上拥有最高的月活跃用户，而《致命公司(Lethal Company)》在Steam上排名第一。36%的PlayStation 5玩家（11月为31%）和31%的Xbox Series玩家（11月为28%）在12月至少玩过一次Fortnite。
