NEVILLE KO FOR REDS & ENGLAND

SKIPPER Gary Neville is out for the rest of Manchester United's season in a bitter blow for the right-back and boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Neville has been recovering slowly from the ankle injury he picked up against Bolton in March and new scans have revealed worse damage than first thought.

The defender has ligament trouble and bruising that means he will be laid up for over a month more - which ends his United campaign.


曼联队长Gary Neville的赛季已经提前结束了，这不论对于他自己还是主教练SAF都是沉重的打击。

自从与博尔顿一役脚踝受伤之后，他的伤势恢复地很慢。最新的扫描检查显示情况比预期的更遭。

他的韧带受伤，还需再病床上躺一个多月，这意味着他的赛季已经结束了。
