Sony files a new trademark for its contentious IP The Order: 1886 which may just mean a sequel might be on the cards for the company.

However, Sony may need to find a new developer to take on the possible project as Ready At Dawn was acquired by Facebook last year. Ready At Dawn had already been developing games for the Occulus Rift such as Lone Echo, Echo Arena, Echo Combat, and Lone Echo 2 before the social media giant acquired the company. With the company being so heavily focused on VR, it would seem strange for them to make a return and help Sony develop a sequel to The Order: 1886.
