Audi's well-known V6 3.0 TDI has evolved into a Euro 6-compliant clean diesel with a displacement of 2,967 cc and a 90-degree cylinder bank angle. The engine will be offered in two states of tune, one with 218 PS (160 kW) and the other with 272 PS (200 kW) and depending on the application torque can reach up to 600 Nm (442 lb-ft).
Aside from being more powerful than its predecessor, the updated six-cylinder turbodiesel engine is up to 13 percent more fuel efficient and emits 15 less grams per 100 km which is why Audi decided to slap the "clean diesel" suffix.
