Ball is the first game in Nintendo's Game & Watch series of handheld LCD games. It was first released for the silver Game & Watch on April 28, 1980. Model number: AC-01.
The player tosses three balls up in the air. As the balls fall down, the player must catch and toss them up again, earning one pointer for each ball. Dropping a ball will end the game. The object of the game is to continuously catch the balls that fall and throw them back up again, like juggling.
The game Ball was also featured in the 1994 Game Boy Gallery. In 1998, it was featured in Game & Watch Gallery 2, and more recently was released as a DSiWare game on July 15, 2009.[1] Ball also makes an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a special move for Mr. Game and Watch, during which he juggles an opponent whom he has grabbed. On February 9, 2011, Nintendo released a version of Ball for Club Nintendo.
