The score you get is estimated by Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT), it’s a module of Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7. WinSAT measures various performance characteristics and capabilities of the hardware which is running on and reports them as a Windows Experience Index (WEI) score. It based on many testing and will show the lowest score as overview score.
The current version of WinSAT in Windows 7 performs the following tests:
Aero Assessment
Direct3D Alpha Blending Assessment
Direct3D Texture Load Assessment
Direct3D ALU Assessment
Windows Media Playback
CPU Performance
Memory Performance
Disk Performance
While running, the tests show only a progress bar and all the test are working in background.
So, if you got a low score on Graphics, the failed testing should be Aero Assessment. It could be caused by following factors:
1. Old driver.
2. Temporary error on score file.
You can try to:
1, download and install the latest video card driver from manufacturer website.
2, delete the results file from C:\windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore. Refresh your score
If the issue still persists, please let me know the video card model
