According to the latest Podcast Beyond, a trophy patch is coming to a "very good" Playstation 3 game. Although the hosts did not give out any other details, they did mention that a story will be posted on IGN tomorrow.
The trophy system was added to the Playstation via a firmware update on July of 2008. Support didn’t become mandatory until the start of 2009. As a result, plenty of Playstation 3 games did not support trophies.
Perhaps the biggest title of the bunch is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Fans have been asking for a trophy patch ever since the game was released on June 12, 2008. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Resistance: Fall of Man and Valkyria Chronicles are other possible candidates.
