All in all, this is just want you’d expect from a typical Sony AAA title. Like I always say, the Playstation 3 is the most capable of any of the current generation’s consoles. So why not take advantage of that? This game certain does, as the presentation is simply astounding. The texture and lighting are fantastic, and the voice acting is really something Ninja Theory should be proud of. The gameplay is deep, so much so that you don’t even notice that you’re fighting the same enemies over and over again. And while a little more replay value would have been appreciated, there’s still enough here to keep you laughing at your friends who don’t (gasp) own a PS3 yet.
I suppose I should mention that I haven’t technically played Heavenly Sword yet (Sony unfortunately forgot to mail us an advanced copy). But I wanted to get this review up before all of you guys don’t buy the game just because of the other reviews out there.
