Midway 的歐洲高層 Martin Spiess 透露《Stranglehold》開發成本高達3000萬美元。Spiess 認為《Stranglehold》可能是目前次世代開發成本最高的遊戲，同時表示《Stranglehold》將成為聖誕節銷量最高的遊戲。

然而荷蘭網站 PS3.Only 今天下午突然從 Midway 得到了消息，今年大作之ㄧ的《Stranglehold》的 PS3 版本將不會在之前原訂的 9 月發行，並且發售日改成未定。而 PC 版和 Xbox360 版本仍訂於 8/27 發售。

這新聞似乎又顯示出虛幻 3 引擎製作的遊戲在 PS3 常發生延遲的問題，包括 Rainbow Six Vegas，GRAW 2，Fatal Inertia 和 Medal of Honor: Airborne 的 PS3 版本都是慢 Xbox 360 版本幾個月才發售。

因此我們不禁要懷疑由 PS3 今年獨占，同樣是虛幻 3 引擎製作的 Unreal Tournament III 是否能在下半年準時發售了。

对我而言，就算同时发售也没用，因为XO版的只用5块钱。

No lying, this is the real deal. TimeShift, which was originally due for release in 1896 (read: 2005) and has been through 117 platforms (read: 5), might just be on the brink of completion. Sierra have announced that the 360 and PC versions of the game will be out on October 30, with the PS3 version due along in December. Take this news with a grain or two of the finest salt, of course (hey, it's TimeShift), but if you're feeling as optimistic as I am today they might just be telling the truth! Might be. No promises, though.
