Umbrella Chronicles "Still On Track" For 2007 Release
Here's a pleasant surprise for a Monday evening. Game|Life ran a little post today about Treasure Island Z being the Wii's first Capcom game. Not quite correct, it seems, as Capcom took the time to both clarify and spill some beans.
They said that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is "still on track" for a 2007 release date (it was first mentioned at the end of last year's teaser trailer). Good news, if they stick to it, since we've heard squat on the game for months. Should give the Wii lineup a little more meat on the bones later in the year (so long as it sticks to that 2007 timeframe).
While they were chatting, Capcom's PR also let them know that they've got more unannounced titles in store for the Wii, and that news on one of them should be announced "in the next few weeks". You know what? I love surprises. But only good ones. Luke Plunkett
