战神点评：收购Rare是微软在Xbox时代的三个最大失败之一（其余两个为收购世嘉/任天堂谈判延误时间，以及丢掉GTA系列独占）。

微软于2002年9月以3.75亿美元的价格收购了英国游戏开发公司Rare。从微软收购Rare到06年底，Rare制作的游戏有：

Xbox游戏鬼屋大冒险，累计销量垃圾到找不到，发售首月美国销量为6175。

Xbox游戏坏松鼠，北美累计销量约43万。

Xbox 360游戏凯密欧传奇：北美累计销量约27万。

Xbox 360游戏完美黑暗Zero：全球出货超过100万。唯一销量较好的游戏。

Xbox 360游戏宝贝万岁，美国首月（11月）销量3.7万。

Rare目前正在开发的游戏为Banjo。战神认为在次世代战争局势较为明朗后，微软应该尽早卖出Rare。

主要是ms催rare催的太紧，360发售一年出了3个游戏，感觉都像半成品，rare应该一年半出一个还差不多

RARE是个非常有创意的公司，超任上大金刚系列堪称精品中的精品，XBOX上的几个游戏虽然卖的不好但并不代表游戏不好玩，坏松鼠、鬼屋大冒险绝对是精品，真正玩过的人才知道。要不是微软看到他们是个创意非凡的公司，也不会花重金收购。XB360已经有一个过百万的了，期待着RARE能作出更多的好游戏。

间接在GBA上赚钱了。。。

RARE还是很有实力的，只不过效率太低~~要不然任也不会卖掉~~最可惜的是，RARE自己拥有的版权太少了~~

有道理!RARE的技术看N64就知道了,好游戏需要时间的.是ms搞死rare的,哭~~~~~~~~~~

RARE不会卖，它擅长的类型正是MS所欠缺的

创建人走掉正意味着新的管理层和重组

这游戏想法挺好，画面也不错
但是要素太少，变化太少
做成20关是好游戏，做100关就是噩梦了

Stamper兄弟不做管理，然后他们2个的亲戚在Rare里面排除异己，导致大量人员流失和N64->GC阶段开发不力。
现在Stamper都走掉了，不错不错。

viva pinata的创意就是来自这兄弟俩的。我感觉正是因为这两兄弟rare才能从82年开始一直坚持做风格鲜明的游戏。。。忍着蛙最高:D
