上周末，我们报道了Windows Live Messenger 8.1 Beta 将于本周公测，微软果然没有食言，现在已经放出下载。

更新日志：

    * Redesigned, smarter contact cards give you more data about and easier access to your friends
    * Your display name, status and personalization roam with you to any computer
    * Try PC-to-phone calling with two free calls to virtually any phone in the world
    * Better server performance
    * Automatic updates
    * Improved sign-in performance

注意：小编发现安装包内带有LiveToolbar以及某某引擎(与WLM无关)，请大家安装测试的时候注意一下，特别是按“Next”的时候，按自己的需求来安装。

Windows Live Messenger 8.1主要改进如下：

1.改进联系人卡片
2.头像图片支持网络保存——在其他电脑上登陆WLM将不必为头像更改而苦恼
3.个人状态栏可以设定地点
