I thought KILLZONE™ was a first person shooter?
To get the most out of the capabilities of the PSP, Guerrilla Games has chosen to utilize a "pseudo isometric" view for Liberation. For information on this new view, visit Pseudo Isometric-What it means.
Will KILLZONE™: Liberation support multiplayer functions?
It has been confirmed that Liberation will support multiplayer via Ad-hoc mode. Six simultaneous players can compete in several modes including deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag and several others. Liberation also features two player cooperative play in which you and a friend can complete the campaign missions together. Will KILLZONE™: Liberation support infrastructure functions (multiplayer/downloads)?
It has been confirmed that Liberation will support infrastructure through downloadable content as well as multiplayer functionality. Infrastructure multiplayer will not be supported on the October 31st release date, instead it will be made available at a later date through a download via an in-game menu or from killzone.com. killzone.com will be re-worked into what is "promising to be one of the most interactive PSP websites to date." How big will the download be to enable infrastructure play?
It is unknown at this point how much space the download will take up on a memory stick.
How many levels will there be in the campaign portion of the game?
There will be four main chapters to the campaign, with each chapter being composed of four individual missions. (Source)
Will I have to go through the campaign alone??
There is a buddy control system that allows you to control actions of a partner in select missions. If a buddy dies in the progress of a mission, you are fitted with several syringes that can be used to revive the buddy. Will I come across any familiar faces from Killzone™?
You play as the familiar character Captain Jan Templar. You will utilize the assistance of Rico Valasquez as well as Shadow Marshall Luger. (Source: killzone.com and playstation.com.au)
Will there be vehicles in the game?

Will there be any new weapons in Liberation that weren't in KILLZONE™?
Yes! There will be several new weapons in the game including 2 chainguns, rocket launcher, flame thrower, remote detonated mines and a crossbow which shoots arrows with exploding tips. Also, weapons will be unlocked in the game by collecting "collectibles" throughout the level. The more collectibles you gather, the more weapons that will be unlocked. Why are the Helghast's eyes glowing different colors?

Will there be any connectivity option between Liberation and any other KILLZONE™ installments?

On foot movement:
Analog Stick = Character movement
Left Shoulder Button (Tap) = Roll
Left Shoulder Button (Hold) = Strafe
Right Shoulder Button (Hold) = Crouch
Square Button = Primary Fire
Circle Button = Secondary Fire
"X" Button = Perform Action
Triangle Button = Reload
Directional Pad = Buddy commands
Both Shoulder Buttons (Tap together) = Aim at item
Select Button = Objectives/Map
In tank movement:
"X" Button = Gas
Triangle Button = Reverse

Will Liberation be a hard game to beat?
There are three difficulty settings in Liberation: Easy, Medium and Hard (Source and thanks to Maddogmonty for reminding me of that info)
Will there be checkpoints throughout the campaign portion of the game?
Yes, there will be a series of checkpoints throughout the missions. However, these checkpoints do not save your progress and you will not be able to start back at that point if you turn the game off mid-mission. (Source: Developer)
Will there be a mode with bots for single player deathmatches similar to offline Battlefields in KILLZONE™?

Will there be downloadable content for KILLZONE™: Liberation?
Yes! It was announced that there will be quite a bit of content made available for Liberation after the game is released in stores. Content includes an additional chapter for single player and co-op which will feature 4 new missions. There will also be new challenge games, multiplayer maps and of course the download of infrastructure multiplayer. (Source)
