        Michael Owen's future could be decided this week, with the former Liverpool striker seemingly set to join the team he supported as a youngster, Everton.

Toffeesboss David Moyes is on the look-out for bargain deals to improve hisstriking options next season. Louis Saha has been linked with Turkishclub Besiktas in recent days, and youngster Victor Anichebe could leaveon loan, with Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday mooted as apossible destination.

The Daily Mirror is reporting thatEverton feel that they can offer Owen a genuine chance to play himselfback into England reckoning, as well as offering him Europa Leaguefootball and the opportunity to break into the top four once more.

Owen will be offered a contract that will not break the club's existing wage structure, and can expect around £50,000 per week.

WithMoyes due back at work after his holidays this week, the move couldreportedly be concluded relatively quickly, though there has been noofficial confirmation from Goodison Park concerning the possible dealas yet.
