According to the magazine Edge, Call Of Duty 3 will be delayed until next year. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are still on schedule, but the Wii version will be delayed until 2007. While it is a major annoyance to the many people who would buy it at launch, it does mean that the game will be better suited to the wii's control system and it also shows that Treyarch (the games' developers) are taking the Wii very seriously indeed.
