Manchester United goalkeeper

Ben Foster

is expected to keep his place after an impressive debut at Derby on Saturday.

Edwin van der Sar's groin problem is set to keep him out and although Tomasz Kuszczak is available after suspension, Foster should continue in goal.

Bolton have injury concerns over captain Kevin Nolan (sore back) and defender Gary Cahill (bruised foot) ahead of the trip to Old Trafford.

Ali Al Habsi continues in goal in the absence of Jussi Jaaskelainen (back).

BIG-MATCH FACTS

Premier League leaders and defending champions Manchester United play their game in hand on second placed Arsenal,
and their first home league match in five weeks.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side are looking for the victory that will put them three points clear at the summit.

While United are bidding for a fourth straight league win, their opponents in this Great Manchester derby, Bolton,
are battling to avoid a fifth successive defeat.

It is a slump that has seen the Trotters plunge from 13th to the bottom three in four matches.
It's also the first time in four months, since Gary Megson's early days in charge, that they've dropped into the relegation zone.

Bolton's shock 1-0 victory over United at the Reebok in November, gives the chance of a first double over the Red Devils
since the 1978-79 top-flight campaign.

United won 12 of their first 13 home league games this season, before losing to Manchester City in the most recent fixture at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have not lost back-to-back home Premier League matches since 8 December 2001,
when a 0-1 defeat to West Ham, came eight days after a 0-3 loss to Chelsea.
