什么机构会每周统计爱尔兰,挪威,新西兰的销量
Welcome, welcome. We have a huge post for you this week. Not only do we have the official American charts for July, we also have three new countries to add to the mix. With the addition of Ireland, New Zealand, and Norway, we now have rankings from nine countries.

Click past the cut to read all of the juicy details.

Japanese Software (July 31-August 6)
# Name (System) Sales (LTD)
1. SD Gundam G Generation Portable (PSP) 155,634 (new)
2. New Super Mario Brothers (DS) 98,038 (2,614,228)
3. Jissen Pachislot Hisshouhou! Hokuto no Ken SE (PS2) 82,556 (new)
4. Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisetchi Gohiikini (DS) 75,853 (268,311)
5. Mario Basket 3 on 3 (DS) 48,564 (159,273)
6. Brain Age 2 (DS) 48,206 (2,925,847)
7. Shaberu! DS Oryouri Nabi (DS) 45,846 (233,703)
8. SENGOKU BASARA 2 (PS2) 40,094 (175,943)
9. Rhythm Tengoku (GBA) 37,473 (new)
10. Growlancer V Generations (PS2) 37,467 (new)

Japanese Hardware (July 31-August 6)
DSL 163,572
PSP 49,352
PS2 25,987
GBASP 2,784
GBM 1,928
Xbox360 1,389
DS 1,159
GC 904
GBA 34
Xbox 14

In an odd turn from the usual, a PSP game has topped the Japanese charts. It is a Gundam game, so it’s no surprise that it did well with the robot-loving Japanese public. Still, it was a very nice debut for the latest mech title. This is also the first week that NSMB has sold below 100,000. Nothing to worry about, I doubt that the title will drop out of the top 10 for awhile yet. The spectacular Rhythm Tengoku made an impressive debut for a GBA game. We’re all big fans of the title, so you can bet that we’ll be keeping an eye on its performance. Tamagotchi 2 and Mario Hoops both continue to do very well. Star Fox Command was also released last week. Unfortunately, it only made it to 14th place.

US Software (July)
# Name (System)
1. NCAA Football 2007 (PS2)
2. NCAA Football 2007 (Xbox 360)
3. New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
4. NCAA Football 2007 (Xbox)
5. Chromehounds (Xbox 360)
6. Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2 (Xbox 360)
7. Prey (Xbox 360)
8. Guitar Hero (PS2)
9. Cars (PS2)
10. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja (PS2)

US Hardware (July)
DS 377,000
PS2 241,000
Xbox 360 206,000
GBA 163,000
PSP 161,000
GCN 44,000
Xbox 12,000

The usual assortment of sports and licensed titles occupy the charts this month. Since US rankings are based on dollar amount rather than number of units, NSMB’s performance is especially wonderful. Congrats to Nintendo on that. The DS seems to have finally begun its domination of the US market, selling more than any other system.

For a complete breakdown of the July NPD sales numbers, take a look at this thread.

UK Software (July 30- August 5)
# Name (System)
1. Cars (Multiple Systems)
2. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PS2/PSP)
3. New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
4. Brain Training (DS)
5. Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (PS2)
6. The Sims (PC)
7. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (Multiple Systems)
8. Sims 2 (PC)
9. Pirates of the Caribbean: Legend of Jack Sparrow (Multiple Systems)
10. Formula 1 2006 (PS2)

I just have to ask, why is the original Sims in the top ten? The source article mentions retailer promotions, but that would have to be a huge retailer push to get a game that old into the top sellers list. The Pirates games have finally dropped several places in the charts while the top three titles remain the same.

For more on the UK charts, NeoGAF continues to provide us with all of the details.

French Software (July 31-August 6)
# Name (System)
1. New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
2. Brain Age (DS)
3. Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)
4. Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends Edition (DS)
5. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PS2)
6. Big Brain Academy (DS)
7. Formula 1 2006 (PS2)
8. Mario Kart DS (DS)
9. Pro Evolution Soccer 5 Platinum (PS2)
10. Super Dragon Ball Z (PS2)

At this point, Nintendo might as well move in and take over the France. They own the country. The latest in the Formula 1 series is one of the few titles to make a dent in Nintendo’s shields.

German Software (July 31-August 6)
# Name (System)
1. Brain Age (DS)
2. GTA: Liberty City Stories (PS2)
3. Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)
4. Gran Turismo 4 (PS2)
5. Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends Edition (DS)
6. Big Brain Academy (DS)
7. New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
8. Formel Eins 2006 (PS2)
9. Pirates of the Caribbean: Legend of Jack Sparrow (Multiple Systems)
10. SingStar Rocks! (PS2)

Likewise, the DS isn’t doing a shabby job in Germany. NSMB did drop sharply from 2nd to 7th place this week; early reports have indicated that there is a shortage. However, other DS titles have risen in the rankings, such as Animal Crossing.

Australia Software (July 31-August 6)
# Name (System)
1. AFL Premiership 2006 (PS2)
2. Singstar Anthems Bundle (PS2)
3. New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
4. Guitar Hero (PS2)
5. Cars (PS2)
6. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PS2)
7. Brain Age (DS)
8. World of Warcraft (PC)
9. Singstar Rocks! (PS2)
10. Buzz: The Big Quiz Bundle (PS2)

Not much to comment on for Australia this week. World of Warcraft seems to have popped back into the top ten titles. The Singstar series continues to enjoy the love of the Australian public.

This week we get to introduce three new countries to our miraculous medley. A big welcome to Ireland, Norway, and New Zealand.

Irish Software (July 31-August 6)
1. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
2. Cars
3. FIFA World Cup 2006
4. Pro Evolution Soccer 5
5. New Super Mario Bros.
6. Pirates of the Caribbean: Legend of Jack Sparrow
7. The Sims 2
8. Need for Speed: Most Wanted
9. Tomb Raider Legend
10. Hitman: Blood Money

Ireland seems to share similar tastes with the British in gaming. In fact, the charts are almost identical to each other. Nothing much to comment on here, so we’ll move on to Norway.

Norway Console Software (July 31-August 6)
1. Buzz: The Big Quiz
2. Need for Speed: Most Wanted
3. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
4. Singstar Norske Hits
5. 2006 FIFA World Cup
6. Guitar Hero
7. Hitman: Blood Money
8. Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2
9. Burnout: Revenge
10. Prey

Norway Handheld Software (July 31-August 6)
1. New Super Mario Bros.
2. Nintendogs
3. Mario Kart DS
4. Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training
5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
6. Daxter
7. FIFA Street 2
8. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
9. Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
10. Super Mario 64 DS

Norway seems to do their sales rankings a bit differently, splitting consoles and handhelds into different charts. As can be expected, the DS dominates the handheld charts.

Now we move onto the unfriendly waters of New Zealand.

New Zealand Software (July 31-August 6)
# Name (System)
1. Singstar Anthems Bundle (PS2)
2. Buzz: The Big Quiz Bundle (PS2)
3. Cars (PS2)
4. Guitar Hero (PS2)
5. Singstar Rocks! (PS2)
6. Eyetoy: Play 3 (PS2)
7. Buzz: The Big Quiz (PS2)
8. Civilization 4: Warlords (PC)
9. World of Warcraft (PC)
10. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PSP)

Did a mob kill Nintendo’s entire NZ branch? The country seems to have shunned our beloved DS in favor of Sony’s warm embrace. Come on Nintendo, you need to do something here.

That’s all for now. Hope you enjoyed this installment. If you have any other countries to add to our mix, give me a shout!

你自己慢慢看去吧
